I am inspired by the way light falls on an object, how it reflects, makes shadows, creates patterns, enhances or changes colour.

I am also drawn to detail and like to look at the familiar from a different perspective.

My photos are often the inspiration for my 3D work and I am currently experimenting with ways of incorporated them into my sculptural work by having them printed onto metal.  They also provide me with inspiration for making patterns which I am using to create woven and printed fabrics.
